Young person's bereavement support

Don't be on your own. Pick up the phone.

Helping you move forwards

Beyond, formally known as The Nicholas Mills Memorial Project, was launched in 2015. It is aimed specifically at people between the ages of 18 and 30 who have been bereaved by drugs or alcohol. The project is an opportunity for young people to meet others in a similar situation, share their stories and access their emotions in a safe, supportive environment.

The project helps young people to develop ways to process and cope with their loss so that they can move forward with their lives, not feel so alone and to challenge the stigma that is often associated with bereavement through drugs or alcohol.

This project offers support via

–          Phone and email support

–          Creative workshops

–          One-to-one support

–          Annual ‘Beyond’ event
